Access to Abortion Care Across Canada
Access to abortion continues to be an on-going issue for individuals seeking abortion care across Canada. This project takes a look at all topics regarding abortion care, specifically looking at New Brunswick and Newfoundland & Labrador. Access to reproductive health care is a basic human right and without it, those seeking care won't receive the help they need. To learn more about the current stance of abortion care in Canada follow along through the various articles below.
Meet Tatiana Furtado
As a part of her Senior Thesis Project, Tatiana has spent countless hours dedicating herself to this work. Tatiana is expected to graduate from Humber College's Bachelor of Journalism in summer 2022. To her, adequate access to abortion is an on-going concern, especially within Canada's most rural, remote regions. Without conversations surrounding improvement, nothing will be done. During the process, there were heavy topic and conversations, but also uplifting ones that shined light on medical professionals making a difference in the field. Tatiana's ultimate goal is to educate readers and address the continuous need for equal abortion care in Canada.
